The Pennsylvania Hometown Litter

This litter is especially close to our hearts. Both Brian and I were born and raised in Pennsylvania, and we were actually visiting Pennsylvania around the time Fairy welcomed these six puppies. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to pay homage to our home state and the places that have been part of our family’s story.

We chose small Pennsylvania towns and communities that hold special meaning to us, giving each puppy a name connected to a place, a memory, or a favorite part of Pennsylvania.

The Parents

Fairy and Kai complement each other beautifully. Fairy is an exceptionally intelligent, adaptable, and willing Mudi. She has a wonderful ability to work with different people and dogs, and she brings a thoughtful, affectionate temperament to everything she does. She has also proven herself in the show ring, coming just shy of her Grand Championship and earning Select at the prestigious 2025 Royal Canin National Dog Show. As a first-time mother, Fairy has been loving, attentive, and wonderfully devoted to her puppies.

Kai brings a little more spark and drive to the combination. He is a handsome, high-drive brown male with a natural bobtail and a big, fun-loving personality. He earned his AKC Championship with strong wins and brings excellent structure, movement, and working instinct. Kai is playful, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure—especially if toys or water are involved!

Together, Fairy and Kai bring a wonderful balance of intelligence, drive, structure, movement, temperament, and personality. With this pairing, we are hoping for puppies with plenty of bone, good substance, compact bodies, and the versatility to excel in the show ring, performance sports, or simply as active and devoted companions. Most importantly, we want well-rounded puppies with the confidence and adaptability to thrive in whatever life their families choose for them.

Loysville — available- $2000 Black male, long tail
Named for the town where we lived when our son, Hayes, was born. A place forever connected to one of the most important moments in our family.

Gretna — available- $2000 Black female, long tail
Named for a fun place we enjoy visiting and a town that brings back wonderful Pennsylvania memories.

Flinton — available- $2000 Black male, NBT
Named for the community close to where Genelda grew up in Cambria County, connecting this puppy to her childhood and family roots.

Altoona — Hold- Black Merle male, long tail
A particularly special name for Genelda, as Altoona is where she was born.

Harrisburg — Hold- Black Merle male, long tail
Named for Brian’s birthplace, making this puppy’s name especially meaningful to him.

Gratz — Hold- Black female, NBT
One of our favorite spots to visit in Pennsylvania, making Gratz a natural choice for one of our girls.

Raising Our Puppies

Puppies are handled daily by our family. We also do our best to prepare them for their new homes by exposing them to toys, sounds, music, crates, leashes, farm animals, dogs, and a variety of people before they leave our home.

The sky's the limit with these puppies! They love being right by your side and are being raised with the expectation that they will become active, engaged members of their families.

Puppies will be available for pickup at around 8 weeks of age, always after being examined by a licensed veterinarian. Puppies will receive their first vaccination and will be started on Interceptor Plus before going home.

We typically allow families to place a $500 non-refundable deposit on the puppy of their choice. However, we also complete puppy aptitude testing and share those results with prospective families to ensure that the puppy is a good match for you and your situation.
